Workshops

A day of exploring money in your life beyond dollars and cents.

Spend a day doing the unthinkable—thinking and talking about money in your life. Discover what you feel about money, how you came to feel that way and why you handle money matters in the way you do. Through structured discussions and exercises, explore how money is woven into your thoughts and feelings about yourself and your relationship with others. Learn to approach what money holds and means to you with curiosity.

This is not a financial training course—it is a chance to become more courageous and aware in relation to money. You’ll be inspired and energized to deal more successfully with money matters as a result of exploring your past and present emotional relationship to money. Discovering your deeper feelings about money will not only help you make better financial decisions and life choices, it also will teach you much about yourself.

Here are some of the questions to consider:

  • Do you think about money matters more—or less—than you would like?
  • Do you spend money you don’t have or have trouble spending the money you do have?
  • Do you have differences or conflict with others about money?
  • Do money worries keep you up at night?

Whether you think you have enough money or too little, whether you “manage” your money or ignore it – underneath most people’s thoughts and behaviors are often powerful feelings. These feelings, usually ignored, can become valuable resources for navigating through our money lives when given proper attention. Participants typically represent a variety of financial circumstances: some are wealthy, some are in debt, and others fall in between. All share the common goal of wanting to improve how they deal with money.
